‘Omniverse’, is the second release from JG Thirlwell's synthesizer-based project Xordox. Omniverse merges science fiction, crime noir and epic film score elements in a highly evocative and audacious style. Layers of tense sequencing and noir tinged keyboard lines invoke powerful images of films and memory, screens and speakers, sound and space, all entering the cosmos and the subsequent galactic race. Like all of Thirlwell’s output, it is simply one hell of an enjoyable journey to take.
